Where Soldiers Come From tells the story of childhood friends Cole and Dominic, who join the National Guard after graduating from their small-town high school because they need the money for college. A story about growing up and trying to change your situation without privilege or resources, the film captures their four-year journey from teenagers stuck in their town, to soldiers in Afghanistan, to young veterans readjusting to and starting a new life.
