Director/Writer Oscar Bucher has won numerous awards for his short fictional and documentary films which have been screened in more than 30 major festivals worldwide. As a filmmaker, he seeks to create works that engage the audience with compassion and humor, encouraging viewers to share their humanity through the communal experience of cinema.
Oscar’s documentary short Waiting for a Train: The Toshio Hirano Story will be featured at the 2010 Heartland Film Festival.
