The former Editor-in-Chief of Moving Pictures magazine, Elliot V. Kotek is a contributor to The Hollywood Reporter, Little White Lies and MovieMaker and is the Entertainment Correspondent for ABC Radio.

A recipient of the NYU/Tisch Craft Award for acting and of three Maggie Awards for film industry journalism, Elliot studied at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York, and completed UCLA’s Professional Program in Screenwriting. He has served on the juries of the Palm Springs, Bahamas, Cinequest, Hatch and Middle East international film festivals, and as a panelist or moderator for the Screen Actors Guild, the Writers Guild of America, the Cannes Film Festival, Monaco Forum of Cinema and Literature and dozens of other festivals and events.
Elliot has interviewed close to a thousand filmmakers and actors, including the winners of over a hundred Academy Awards. In addition to his journalistic endeavors, Elliot is currently involved in producing films (140, Ninety-One, Raise My Hands, Little Larry) and art exhibitions (The Art of Noise, Shredding the Moment) through his banner, The Nation of Artists.
