Duncan Christopher is an ordinary guy who grew up the wealthy son of a suicidal rock star. He’s mild-mannered, awkward, naïve and wholeheartedly aimless. Duncan is determined to follow in his father’s footsteps as a musician, but he has an obstacle: he’s not that good. With the help of his uncle and cousin, he lands a gig at a karaoke competition. Through this, Duncan begins to deal with his father’s suicide, and the audience loves him.
