Hopefully you had the chance to catch Summer Eleven, the story of four 11-year-old girls who over a summer break learn to appreciate friendship and build trust through the hard times in life. Summer Eleven was one of our own Julie Easton’s favorite films of the Festival and we’ve heard a lot of feedback that it touched the heart of many others!
We just received a couple of letters from two of the girls in the film that attended the Festival – Rebecca Butterworth (Miranda) and Alice Ziolkoski (Vanessa). I can’t thank you enough for making our trip to Indianapolis fantastic. From the screenings to the parties and limo rides, we felt like movie stars for a weekend. Thanks for all the great write ups, and special thanks to Ray Mills. I hope you get to sleep soon!
I wish I could have been there to see the audience reaction to your film with the Q&A. It was a pleasure to meet all of you at the Awards Gala Afterglow Party. Please thank all of the girls for the autographed Summer Eleven card – what a great surprise to come back to the office and get such a lovely gift that I can frame.
