Tickets to see a regular festival screening are already pretty reasonable. Just $8 at the door, that’s still cheaper than seeing The Dark Knight on opening weekend (especially if you go all they way and splurge on popcorn and candy, too!).
This year, we’re making screenings more affordable than ever. Here’s how: from Monday, October 20 to Thursday, October 23, we’re offering a two-for-one deal on screenings before 5 p.m. When you purchase one ticket for any qualifying show, a friend/coworker/spouse/significant other will get in FREE. Seriously, when was the last time the big theaters showed you this much love?
So which movies can you see to take advantage of this great deal? Check out the schedules for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Films showing before 5 p.m. include Crystal Heart Award winners Karla’s World and Terra, Pray the Devil Back to Hell and Blessed is the Match. You could fit in each of the four Shorts Collections (Crystal Heart Award winners, or program 2, 3 or 4); there are even some Sidebar films playing–those Truly Moving Picture Award winners you might not’ve caught when they were in theaters. Check out Young@Heart (pictured) or Sophie Scholl: The Final Days, two films you won’t mind taking time out of your day for.
This two-for-one deal works with screening tickets you’ve already purchased, too. So if you’ve got your 10-pack, all you need to do is bring at least one of the screening tickets to the door and two of you will get in!
