Print this page Terra is an alien invasion story in reverse, where the humans are the ones doing the invading. Mala is a precious alien girl who's father, Roven, is abducted during a hostile invasion. In order to save him, Mala kidnaps a crashed and injured human pilot, Jim. While Mala nurses him back to health, it's revealed that Terra's atmosphere is inhospitable for humans. The Earthforce's master plan is to use a Terraformer on the planet, to make Terra livable for humans but poisonous to the native Terrians. Mala and Jim work together to broker a peaceful resolution between the two species, but the impatient Earthforce, led by General Hemmer, is unwilling to budge. They have already exhausted the resources of three prior planets and are eager to stake a claim in their new home. In the final battle, while surrounded by death on both sides, Jim sees that the only way to save Terra is to make the biggest sacrifice imaginable, destroying the Terraformer.
