Making Movies Matter

Movies do more than entertain -- they can move people to action. F.I.L.M. curriculum is the perfect tool to help inspire that action.

Share stories of how you are using F.I.L.M. with your youth and we'll post them here. Your stories can inspire others to make movies matter.

Heartland's High School Film Competition

This month marks the beginning of Heartland Truly Moving Picture’s
first annual High School Film Competition. Call for entries is now open.

The competition, which is the first of its kind for Heartland, is
open to all currently enrolled high school students who have not yet
graduated. Film submissions will be judged on artistic excellence, technical
merit and representation of Heartland’s organizational values

The inaugural competition’s theme is HOPE.
Learn more about the competition here.

Give the Gift of Service

This holiday season F.I.L.M. encourages you to use the themes in movies to inspire
service. Search the database of curriculum to find the movie that works best for youth in your organization.
